Sen. John Kerry has got new beef stewing with the White House gangstas. he told a group of California students on Monday that those unable to navigate the country's education system "get stuck in Iraq."(to me sounds like a shot at Bush, him not being a good student and leading America into this bullshit war.) President Bush responded by saying "The members of the United States military are plenty smart and they are plenty brave and the senator from Massachusetts owes them an apology." This is sad, the elections are only days away and this idiots are trading school yard insults. Even though I hate Bush almost as much as I hate Diddy, I have to agree with him, the troops are plenty smart and brave (guess that's why he never showed up), and Kerry should apologize to all the brave troops that ever joined the military. He should start with himself, move to the current troops, and finish with the veterans (such as myself, I'll take money in lieu of an apology). I also have to agree with Kerry, Bush is a sad excuse for a leader, getting America stuck in another war that will never end (war on terrorism, about as winnable as the wars on drugs and poverty). So, everybody when you go into that booth and vote next Tuesday, vote with your ass and not your brain. Because to pick a politician you have to think like a politician, just pull an idea out of your ass and run with it. And Sen. Kerry, we all know you meant no malice towards the troops (but please stop talking, there will be no Kerry in 2008). In this bipartisan America, (and now for me to use the title of this blog entry) the Great Equalizer is stupidity. And on a more important note, Bob Barker is retiring. This man has been an icon for thirty five years on the Price is Right. What will daytime game shows be like without Mr. Barker (we all wish Press Your Luck was still on [No Whammy, No Whammy, No Whammy]).

True Definition of a Warrior!
It's a windy Wednesday in late October, I sit in front of television in Queens, New York, and it hits me all of a sudden. Hip-Hop is officially dead and I'm not even mourning, I'm actually happy to see Hip-Hop die. And for the first time since I realized there was "No Way Out" in 1997, I can't blame Diddy. No, I'm going to have to blame myself and the rest of rap music listeners. We let the terrorist win this battle without even fighting back, all we did was snap our fingers and lean back. For the past few months I've been sticking my head in the sand like an ostrich, I've been ignoring the current state. I fell back to the early nineties and late eighties, and let the terrorist run amok in the rap industry. Instead of asking the so-called "certified gangsters" what they were doing to my music, instead of questioning the integrity of dudes that tattoo butterflies for their family and cover it up later, instead of questioning why Diddy's album is better than Lloyd Banks', we all embraced the past, giving up on the future.
At work a while ago, this young "niglet" argue to me how Lil Wayne is better than Jay-Z, Rakim, Kane, Nas, etc. (how preposterous). A "Blood" in New Jersey tried to tell me that every member of the Diplomats was better than Nas and Jay-Z. Some kid tried to tell me rap is better now than it was in the early nineties (Cuban Linx is better than any album in the past five years). When I challenged their statements, they just let rhymes about thugging, selling drugs, gun busting, gangsterisms and other nonsense the rappers they listen to know nothing about. Not that I respect gangsterism (I listen to G-Unit though), I respect it coming from somebody that put in that work. How does a dude that's been rapping since eleven, twelve have time to become a drug kingpin? How did Cam'ron go from playing basketball with Mase, to being a General in a Blood organization? And if every rapper in Atlanta was in the trap, who was buying the drugs? Whatever happened to just being who you are?
So I say we (all the pure Hip-Hop heads) let Hip-Hop rest in peace and use our creativity to invent something new. The culture is crying for us to reinvent it.

Guess it's Just the Theory of Man!
I want ya'll to vibe with me for a moment (see the reference to Jay-Z). Just imagine a world without war, famine, plague, etc. Okay, now ask yourself "how do we obtain this?" (good question). Now imagine a world where everybody had enough sense to, as the kids would say, be "rubber" and let the words bounce off of them. On October 2, a gunman shoots people in Amish Country, PA (Lancaster). The family of the victims forgives the gunman, now how many of us could say we would do the same. Two people come forward to reveal prisoner abuse in Guantanamo Bay, and they were silenced. I don't believe that nobody knew it was going on, people turn away from what's going on. I've figured out how to bring about world peace, destroy the future by bringing back the past. Television and the internet connect people to things they never would have seen without them. After being exposed to the horrors of the world so young, we have been desensitized to violence and everything else happening in the world. Because information is so easily access without actual thinking, people have also been stupefied and dumbed down. Don't think so, just read some of the e-mails and post on MySpace.com. You know stupidity is the norm when immigrants go onto television and argue against allowing immigration (yeah American's of European, African, Asian, anyone besides the Native Americans that were slaughtered are immigrants). My brother worked at an after school program, and these kids could tell you things they should never know about sex, drugs, crimes, and various "adult" subjects, but they can't tell you a damn thing about the "three R's" (reading , (w)riting, (a)rithmatic: damn, the teacher that made that up was pushing it). I say we learn from the Amish and shield our children (our future) from the world. That way when they see horrors, they will treat them as such, instead of treating horrors like normal everyday life. Lets protect our children from the genocides in Africa, the natural resource shortages worldwide, the wars raging in the Middle East, and the plague known as Diddy. Hopefully by hiding from them and shocking them with it later (except Diddy, hide him forever) their fresh outlook on the subjects will bring about a change (unlike their stupid parents that ruined it for them). Maybe I'm just a little delusional from staring at a television all day and scrolling on a mouse all night.

Law & Order : Criminal Intent
I've been questioning the meaning of life in the past couple of weeks (since I quit my job and haven't had much to do). I've been reading up on philosophy, religion, astronomy, astrology, numerology, etc. I've been trying to turn the dial on the camera I'm holding, trying to get my life in focus (hope you like the metaphor). Life is a riddle that hasn't been answered, and I must find the answer to it. I want to know why is love more respectable than hate, when hate is probably more powerful? Why is perfection so desirable, when nothing is perfect except for the continuance of imperfection (think about that)? Why do we as a people continue to contradict ourselves? If love and peace is what we are aiming for, why do we promote hate and war? I know a lot of people aren't going to agree with my religious beliefs, but to each his own. Why if God, Allah, Jehovah, Yahweh, etc, is everywhere, all of the time why do I need to go a certain place to pray or pray at a certain time or on a certain day? And if (I'm going to use God for all from here on) God is perfect, why is there so many different religions? God should have used his "all mighty" title to keep everyone under the same God (Exo. 20:5). Why is human life worth more in certain parts of the world than in others? Why are humans in control of this planet, when they are not that responsible? I have so many more questions that I am searching for answers to, but with every question answered comes more questions. The Nation!
Whatever happened to the Five Percenter Nation of Gods and Earths, where's the Nation of Islam been, what's the deal with the NAACP, whatever happened to the Black National Anthem. It's sort of like Black people forgot about black people. Even though we have African Americans in high positions (American Express, Merrill Lynch, Oprah, the CEO of Hip-Hop Shawn Carter, and Diddy), we still have not reach complete equality. This government is trying to get rid of Mexicans, who do you think is next (and I can't live in hot ass Africa). I understand that we've came pretty far in over four hundred years, but if Hurricane Katrina is any evidence, then evidently we didn't come far enough. Latinos and African Americans are at war in Los Angeles and most of us are worried about if Jay-Z and Beyonce getting married or what new dance they doing in Atlanta. And speaking of Atlanta, wasn't that suppose to be a Black Mecca, it now seems like a breeding ground of buffoonery. I'm from New York, so I've visited the home of the Black renaissance, Harlem, and it's sad to see young people gang banging and emulating rappers that don't care about them. And when I travel to suburban, mainly Caucasian neighborhoods I see the same self destructive attitudes and actions. Me, myself I can't say I'm improving the conditions either, but I'm trying. But forget about the first few lines of this manifesto, this isn't about African Americans, this is about Americans as a whole. There are terrorist out there looking to destroy us, and I don't mean radical Islamics, I'm talking about radical Americans. I have friends and family in Iraq (what it is, Oba), I was almost in Iraq, dying over somebody lying. We can't let them get away with this. The youth of America is dying slowly, the future of Africa is being slaughtered in genocides, the youth of South and Central America are starving and being abused, the same things are going on around the world ( except Canada, what's up with that). Holy wars are being fought, in the end we are going to all lose. And to end on the most dangerous threat to our world, on October 17th of this year, Diddy will release Press Play, which will most likely deteriorate the youth of the world's minds (he has a nice joint with Nas though).
